The 2007 Chevy TrailBlazer ss problems are dead battery or transmission slipping. The transmission fluid needs to be replaced every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Along with fluid changes, terrible sounds will come from the transmission. Old transmission fluid will be awful to the ear. A worn out torque converter will cause a headache. The transmission is one of the most critical parts of the vehicle. You will face issues at some point. Hard shifts could arise and that is not good. You could experience shudders. There may be jerking. The gears might become stuck. The transmission could slip. Delayed shifts will cause acceleration problems. If the transmission fluid leaks, that needs to be patched quickly.

Uses a quart of oil every 4000 miles...one broken valve spring, catastrophic failure of right side drive axle and drive unit that bolts to oil pan and the shaft that runs thru oil pan to differential....that component (the drive unit) is not sold as a unit, you have to buy the pieces and build it...thank God hubby is a tech and he also installed a grease zero as he believes lack of grease contributed to the failure...now when he services the vehicle he gives it a couple shots of Schaefers Moly grease...the good stuff...almost 200k rounds now.... Is a 2007 chev trlblzr SS, terrible gas mileage though, always has been...bone stock, serviced regularly and well loved...

The most common 2007 chevy trailblazer ss problems are related to the engine leaking oil from the oil pan gasket.
