As the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, You may have discovered issues with Your brake system. At times, there are reports of the brake pedal becoming too difficult to compress. There have been several reports of the brakes suddenly failing while traveling in reverse. Since it doesn't happen every time, the brakes are slipping. This causes a risk for an accident. This make and model vehicle is under a recall for these issues. You should be able to call Your dealership, and have it fixed free of charge.
