Stalling in the 2014Chevrolet Equinox is usually tied to issues with the fuel system, but can also be indicative of transmission woes. Particularly, the first place you're going to want to look is to the fuel pump, followed immediately by the fuel injectors. Is the issue intermittent? Are you able to move the vehicle at all? Does the stall commonly come when switching from reverse to drive (or vice versa)? Stalling when changing gears is a common sign of transmission issues, which can be caused or exacerbated by low transmission fluid levels (or broken down transmission fluid). As such, you can easily check your levels, so it's a great starting point. If that doesn't seem to be your cause, the fuel pump or fuel injectors usually throw a diagnostic trouble code (DTC), so I recommend seeing if you have any with an OBD-II to attempt to pinpoint your problem.
