The most common problems with the transmission in a 2014 Chevy Spark are usually either caused by a physical problem or a computer problem. Each of these will exhibit different symptoms when there is a problem. Usually a physical problem with the transmission will make it very noisy. You may also hear grinding while shifting between gears. This typically means that there is damage to the gears in the housing. Usually when there is a computer problem You will notice that the vehicle shifts roughly between gears, or hunts for a gear. This means that Your TCM is not able to determine what gear You should be in to match the speed of the engine.
2014spark is a Jayco cvt transmission and doesn't shift gears so it shouldn't have shift sensors its a syntrifacal drive so no shifting so that makes zero sense
