There aren't many issues reported on the 2017 Honda CR-V's voice recognition system, but that doesn't mean that it's not susceptible to the same problems that every vehicle faces. Namely, since the vehicle is using a microphone to pick up Your voice, You'll find the the wiring to the mic or the microphone itself has failed, which causes the system to fail during normal operation. To remedy this, You may need to replace the microphone, which is located in Your CR-V's rearview mirror. You may also find that the software no longer recognizes Your voice. In this case, a simple relearn should do the trick. Simply go through the setup procedure once more, and the system will better be able to understand Your commands -- hopefully.
