There are a few problems that can happen with the turn signal in a Chevy Equinox. The most common problem is when there is a problem with the flasher relay. When this component starts to fail You will usually notice that the lights flash either slower or faster than normal depending on how it is failing. Another common problem are that the bulbs can burn out. The bulbs are considered to be a consumable part and therefore they can wear out over time. Another thing that can happen is the wire harness at the housing can get damaged. When there is a damaged harness or a loose wire then the lights will not work properly.

A faulty turn signal switch or lever is the most common issue with a turn signal in the chevy equinox.
I've had the turn signal stop cancelling in our 08 equinox recently. I replaced the whole arm as was recommended, but that didn't fix it. I'm assuming there is a secondary mechanism in the column that can also fail. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have 2013 same thing bought new arm. I was charged$118.00 the mechanic lied said it was fixed it wasn't.
