A brand new alternator for a 2006 Toyota Corolla is going to cost between $70 and $120 just for the alternator itself. This is a somewhat advance job so most owners of this vehicle are going to want to take it in to professional to have them swap out the alternator. If You're going to take it in to a shop the total cost of parts and labor will range between $400 and $600. You're likely going to get a better deal on this job takeng it to a local mechanic instead of Your Toyota dealership unless Your vehicle is still under warranty.

It's not that expensive if you live in a largely rural area of the Florida Panhandle and have a great local shop that's also an auto parts dealer. Gulf Coast Auto replaced the alternator in I I guess there's another reason I'm lucky to live in a sparsely populated county in the Florida Panhandle where we have a great local auto shop about a 10-minute drive from my house. I had my 2006 Toyota Matrix towed to Gulf Coast Auto in Eastpoint yesterday afternoon, and I was called and told it was ready around the same time today. That's pretty remarkable but believing what I had to say about what was wrong with my car, they ordered a new alternator last night. And it cost me $242 and change including installation. It's fantastic having an honest, smart local shop like this!

2006 alternator is 100 bucks how to videos all over YouTube. Take pictures of everything you take out. It's not hard and you'll save 500 bucks from some greedy corporations that'll knock it out in 20 minutes with 5 people and charge you 100 per hour and call the 20 the 5 did an hour each.
