There are several reasons why Your Ford Fusion may beep or chime. The most likely cause is that there is a seatbelt that is unbuckled and something is in the seat that trips the weight sensor. When this happens the seatbelt alarm chime will sound and that is likely what You are hearing. If Your vehicle beeps slowly and sounds like it is struggling then that can be a sign that the battery is dying. When components do not get enough voltage it can cause them to go haywire and not work properly so that is something that You should check. Make sure Your resting voltage in the battery when it is stopped is above 12 volts.

Often the source of several beeps in a ford fusion is that the battery in the vehicle is starting to die.

Yesterday I went to start my car up and after it started there was 5 high pitch beeps then it was gone . It didn't do it again til I turned my car off then it made those 5 beeps. I got a one time message my key battery is low so I changed the battery. But it's still beeping 5 times even after I changed my key fob battery. Thank you message
