The common Honda CR-V with the 1.6L diesel engine problems include a problem with the injectors. A recall was actually issued for the injectors being faulty as they can lead to fuel and oil mixing. This mixture can damage Your engine and cause decreased performance. In general other than that are just the normal complaints found with diesel engines. They run louder than standard gasoline engines, and the glow plugs on them are susceptible to breaking when they need to be changed. The motor seems to be pretty good though once the recall issues are addressed and You should have no problem going well over 100,000 miles on this motor.
