Honda cr-v owners have reported 4 problems related to computer failure (under the electrical system category) including irregular shifting patterns and engine stalling at various speeds.
The most frustrating Honda CR-V problem for me has been intermittent mass failure of the advanced safety systems. Until the warranty ran out, Honda dealerships could find the problem instead opting to replace the engine battery repeatedly (with no success). Now that the warranty is expired, they found a fuel system fault that caused the car to turn off ALL advanced safety systems. $4k repair.
I have a Honda CRV 2018 and two times the computer screen where radio etc are just goes black and shortly comes back on .

Bought a new CRV in march when my old one had a computer fault and couldn't find parts. Last week my new one died. Computer dead. Can't find parts......

2018 Honda CRV LX... The entire system failed - every warning light went on, the brakes and shifter wouldn't work. Very scary. Car only has 42k miles and has been serviced by dealer. They have yet to find the issue 5k into repairs. Blamed me for it because I had a small decoration on mirror....
When switching on the vehicle it wouldshow a message Software update There is a problem reading the CD Rom device,please switch off vehicle and restart I have changed the battery as per the dealer,but this fault still appears
