As with any vehicle, Your most common starting issue with the Honda Fit will be a dead battery. This can be caused by a variety of different factors, ranging from an older battery incapable of holding a charge, to a failed alternator, to a component that's drawing power while the ignition is off. You should start by testing the voltage of Your battery. It's possible that other factors not related to the battery can be causing Your starting issues, especially if the engine cranks when You turn the ignition key. Some common faults there are a bad starter or starter solenoid, worn out spark plugs, or a fuel system issue. Begin Your diagnosis with the moSTSimple fix, and move through the most complicated.

I have a 2015 Honda Fit. It most often starts with no problem. However, there are times that nothing happens when push the start button. I have discovered that if I get out of the car, lock it, then unlock it. It will start. What is happening? Does it have something to do with the security system? It seems it will most often happen if I don't immediately start it after unlocking it, such as when I unlock it and then do something in the trunk. Odd...

If your honda fit won't start check the battery in your key fob and then proceed to diagnose the vehicle's starter, battery or alternator.
