The 2001 Ford Taurus battery group size iS36R 650 CCA. Your battery will typically last between 3 to 5 years, but that can vary heavily depending on battery size, type of battery, weather conditions, and driving habits. Most auto parts stores such as Auto Zone and Advance Auto Parts have many batteries in stock. Auto parts stores will also install Your new battery in Your car for free. They offer free battery testing and will charge any automotive battery as well. If the dashboard lights are dim, something is likely wrong with Your battery. If the engine starts but dies immediately, Your alternator probably isn't keeping Your battery charged.

Hi there! Thorough details indeed! I just want to state that autozone will NOT always changes your battery; hard sale technique?. I ended up jumpstarting it 2 days later and my battery still later over 12 months. I almost froze the night I first took the mentioned batery to autozone. Thanks!
