You can learn a lot about the axles that Your 2010 Ford F-150 uses by reading the code located on the door sticker. Open the driver's side door and see the information listed on the VIN sticker found on the door jamb; it seems like You already have, and You're seeing axle code H9. Axle code H9 indicates a Ford 8.8" limited slip differential. The gear ratio iS3.55, and the capacity iS3800 pounds. ThiS-TYPE of axle was also used on the Expedition on certain model years, and the gear ratio sits somewhere near the middle of the pack. It's important to note that if You're running on H9, You'll need limited slip differential additive when You replace Your differential fluid, which should be done at regular intervals to combat breakdown.

H9 means you have a 3.55Ls. Limited slip is the same as traction lok, so yes you will need xl3 additive.
