I am having the same message on my screen but my 2011 Ford F-150 doesn't come with a fuel cap. What do I need to do.
It means you need to take your fuel cap off verify that it still has the rubber ring seal installed(sometimes they will tear or break and fall out effectively making the cap useless and you won't even realise its gone until the vehicle kicks off the code for it)then reinstall the cap making sure its threaded correctly and its tight properly sealing the tank. This will usually come up with the check engine light coming on immediately after leaving the gas station. If the light does come on and you just put gas in your car then the cap isn't installed right,,,pull over and reinstall cap and the light should go out once you reach 25mph.

A "check fuel fill inlet" message indicates there is an evap leak at or near the fuel tank fill inlet. Check to ensure that the gas tank is properly closed, and that there are no leaks in the inlet pipe.

Check fuel lines and long connections especially above front left where it goes into injector lines and injectors them selves
