As the driver of a Ford Escape, You may be alarmed when the "check fuel fill inlet" light appears on Your dashboard. Thankfully, You don't need to be worried. This indicator is there to let You know that the fuel cap leading to Your tank has become loose, or wasn't closed properly. It causes evaporative leaks to occur at the filling location, which is picked up by the sensors. This problem is very easy to resolve. Simply pull over somewhere safe, and tighten the cap. The light should now be gone.
