SXT is meant to mean "StandaRDXTra", which denotes a higher trim level than the base and most other standard editions (SE) of the vehicle. In the case of the Dodge Dakota, the meaning remains the same. You'll get some nifty features that put Your truck head and shoulders above other configurations, but it still won't be as great as a Chevy :) I joke of course, but the SXT trim level will come with A4.7L engine and 3.55s. In addition, You'll get larger tires and wheels as well as separate driver and passenger AC controls, but You'll need to give up rear air conditioning. Some say that the Dakota SXT drives more like a Durango than a truck.
