The 2001 Chevy S-10 2.2L fuel pressure regulator can be found on the back side of the fuELRail where the fuel lines meet them. This is a small electronic servo that has some wires that run to it to open and close it. The fuel pressure regulator is there to ensure that You have the correct fuel pressure in Your engine. The pump will send gasoline through the lines all the way to this regulator and then it is either increased or decreased depending on what the engine needs. If You have a regulator that is failing then You may have an engine that is stalling or running rough.
