There is not a cabin air filter slot in my 2002 4runner and I confirmed with my local Toyota that the 2002 model does not have a cabin air filter.

The 2002 toyota 4runner cabin air filter is located behind the glove box.
Why is this not yes/no? I had a chain service department changing my oil and servicing my 2002 4runner since 2016. They charged me 3 times for a cabin filter. Today I ask3d my mechanic to change it, he said it doesn't have one. So I went home, tore my glove box apart and sure enough there isn't one. But if you Google it sometimes it says yes they do...did some 2002 models have them? Am I and my mechanic not looking in the right place?
