As the owner of a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, You may have found Yourself in a position where You need to know the torque power required to apply the rocker arm for Your vehicle. The torque needed iS30 to 32 pound feet. This means that You will need to use at least 30 lb-ft to keep the rocker arm mounted. Improper mounting can result in loss of the rocker arm, or loosening of the component, which will cause rattling and shaking in the vehicle. If the rocker arm is broken or faulty, it will need to be replaced. This can cost You between $24 and $80, for parts alone. Having it replaced by a mechanic or auto tech will cost You an additional $50 to $280 in labor.
