The 2007 Chevrolet Impala, depending on configuration, comes with one of four different engines. Two of these engines are 3.5L V6 variants, one FlexFuel compatible and one not. The coolant capacity of each of these iS-10.1 quarts. The larger 3.9L V6 engine also takeS-10.1 quarts of coolant, while the largest 5.3L V8 has an initial fill level of 13.3 quarts. With that said, the Impala is not particularly picky when it comes to coolant type. A lot of drivers report using Dex-Cool, while others report that they find Prestone 50/50 works the best. It's most important to never mix different coolants though, since adverse reactions that create a thick viscous substance can occur. If You don't know what type of coolant is in Your Impala, it may be best to drain and refill with the option of Your choice.

That is another until it's full and how much did you take out. Those are never the same either.
