The battery type used on the 2008 Honda Accord is CR1616 3V. If Your key fob battery is dead and You want to attempt to replace the battery Yourself, I can help guide You. You will need a small screwdriver and a bigger flat head screwdriver. First, remove the small screw on the back of the key fob with the smaller screwdriver. After, remove the back of the keyfob and with the flathead screwdriver, pry open the middle casing of the key fob. Once it is open, remove the battery and insert the new one plus face down. Close up the key fob and You should be good to go.
