What is the chevy equinox exhaust manifold recall about?

I have a 2012 chevy equinox. Is there an exhaust recall replacement for the 2012 chevy equinox models? Recently i got exhaust work done to my chevy equinox. The exhaust manifold, O2 censor and the resanator were replaced. Am i eligible to get compensated for the work done through GM? I have the reciept for the work done at the shop location.

I have a 2014 Equinox. I had to have a cracked manifold replaced in April. Not cheap at all. My engine just blew last week . Without any warning of anything even being wrong with the car. It ran just fine. No engine lights, no oil lights, no rough idle or anything. No engine noise whatsoever. My oil percentages were still at 20%. Are there any recalls on the 2014 engine?

My 2015 Chevy Equinox is a pile of junk!! Have had to replace the manifold and it’s still loud!! Had to replace two selinoid switches and a sway bar; We will never buy Chevy again!!

There are no exhaust manifold recalls at all on chevy equinox's...There are a few years that have catalytic converter recalls,( 2011-2012 ?) These manifolds crack when the cam timing is off, (advanced camshaft timing causes excessive exhaust temps) -loose timing chain - caused by broken guide and/or chain tensioner failure, which in turn is caused by no oil/lack of lubrication...The 2.4L inherently uses oil, expecially 2010 through 2014ish with the low tension piston rings, and its not common practice these days for people to check their oil level, and coupled with highly inaccurate oil life monitoring systems, its real easy to run completely out before it needs changed!

I had a exhaust recall done on my 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. The issue returned was told that the recall was completed would have to come out of my pocket to fix it. That means the parts is a defect. Why are they not honored? I'm very loyal customer who is very disappointed.

I have a 2016 Equinox it has been a lemon. The manifoldhas been replaced 2 times and now it needs it again. Multiple oil leaks and constant trips to the mechanic due to multiple parts failed. I could of paid off this car by now, with the work that has been done.
