The factory amp is located under the dash on the driver side, to the left of the steering column in the Chevy Traverse. If the speakers are not working or only the tweeters in the pillars are working this could be an indication of a blown amp. Before going through the trouble of removing the amp, look in the passenger compartment fuse boxAnd check the amp fuse, which is the bottom right one. Next You might want to see if water infiltration has caused an electrical short, this is a common problem either at the front windshield or on the rear doors. The amplifier is held in with three 7-millimeter bolts You will need a standard socket and deep well socket. The easiest bowl to get to is the closest one to You You'll need to use the deep well on. The two closest to the firewall are a little harder to get at, the top one is the hardest.
