If You want to know the engine oil capacity on Your 2004 Toyota Corolla, then it is a total of 4.4 quarts with an oil filter. If You are also curious to know which oil type to use on Your vehicle, then it iS5W-30. If You happen to live in a town or city where it's probably below -20 F, You should use 10W-30. The purpose of the oil in Your engine is to keep it lubricated and to preserve its use. If the oil in Your motor is d***y or old then that will shorten its life and cost You a pretty penny. A word of advice here, replace Your motor oil when its supposed to be replaced.
