For the 2018 Ford Edge with the 2.0 L 4Cylinder and 2.7 L V6 it needS5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil and for the 3.5 L V6 engine it needS5W-20 Synthetic. The capacity iS5.7 quarts for the 2.0 L 4Cylinder and 6 quarts for the 2.7 L V6 and 3.5 L V6 engine. The difference between synthetic and conventional is that synthetic is man made using chemical compounds and contains fewer contaminants. Oil is very important because it will help to keep the engine clean and running smoothly. You should change the oil and the filter every 7,500 to 10,000 miles or so because it doesn't last forever. The cost of an oil change is anywhere from $40 to $60 in labor costs and extra for parts.

Hi, again. Sorry error, but to make a long story short, if you put nonsynthetic in a car should you have it flushed?

Hi, someone told me that they needed an oil change. They took the car to a nearby place but they didn't know what kind of oil to put Hi, someone told me they needed an oil change. The place that did the oil change didn't put Synthetic oil in the car and put a different nonsynthetic type of oil in the car, should it be flushed out for the right type of oil?
