Resetting the BCM on a Ford F-150 is as simple as disconnecting or turning off the battery, giving the vehicle a little bit of time and then reconnecting or restarting the battery. Its important to wait at least 15 minutes between draining the vehicle completely and restarting it. Your owners manual should contain a detailed walk-through on removing and restarting the battery. If this doesnt work, there is probably something wrong with Your BCM. This can lead to lights on accessories and buttons on the panel flashing on and off. Furthermore, Your BCM will also begin to read sensors incorrectly, meaning other parts of the vehicle can malfunction as well.
