The Honda Accord has a brake caliper bolt torque of 54 foot pounds. You will most likely need to use a 13 mm socket wrench when attempting to remove the bolts on this vehicle. It is pertinent that You avoid over-torqueing the nuts. This is because it can result in the heads being broken off. The average vehicle needs a much lower 24 to 36 foot lbs of torque, in comparison to the Accord.

This is incorrect, and it depends on the year. Spec for 2017 Accord is 80 ft/lbs for the bracket bolts, 17 ft/lbs for the caliper slider pin bolts. Secure the slider pins with a 19 mm open end wrench.

Hello Drew, Where to find the accurate torque numbers for Caliper slider pins and bracket bolts? I have 2015 Honda Accord EXL. I glanced through user manual but could not find the numbers. It is also not easily available via quick google search.
