The 2013 Toyota Tundra's maintenance is simple, yet important to follow. All maintenance is given in miles and months; in each case, if You hit the miles before the months, You should have the maintenance performed. At 5,000 miles or 6 months, inspect and adjust all fluid levels, rotate tires, and inspect the brake system. At 10,000 miles or 12 months, repeat the first maintenance, but also replace the engine oil and oil filter. At 15,000 miles or 18 months, complete the first maintenance once more, but also clean the cabin air filter, lubricate the propeller shaft, and re-torque the propeller shaft bolt. Also inspect all suspension components. At 20,000 miles or 25 months, repeat the first maintenance and change the engine oil and filter. At 25,000 miles or 30 months, repeat the first maintenance once more. At 30,000 miles or 36 months, repeat the first maintenance and also lubricate the propeller shaft, re-torque the propeller shaft bolt, replace the cabin air filter, and replace the engine air filter. Also replace the engine oil and filter. At 35,000 miles or 42 months, complete the first maintenance once more. At 40,000 miles or 48 months, again repeat the first maintenance with an additional oil and filter change. Finally, at 45,000 miles or 54 months, once again complete all of the steps listed above in the most detailed maintenance notes. Toyota recommends you schedule service for your 2013 toyota tundra every six months, or every 5,000 miles whichever comes first.
