It is a lot of car with a few faults.
No mechanical problems; gas mileage about 15 mpg. Poor visibility to rear over tailgate. Side mirrors and front corner posts block to the front quarters. Mirrors can easily conceal a full size car. Size makes it difficult to park. Truck bed holds a lot. Running board makes it easier for old folks to climb in.

The sunroof and back window rolls down is awesome.
I haven't had any major problems and love that the back window rolls down. Performance is great. Reliability is great. Comfort is awesome. Features are awesome. The back seat reclines so when you are camping and want to watch a movie in comfort. The sunroof is also very awesome when all the windows are down while at the beach.

Best truck around! Very spacious and reliable!
This truck is very reliable. This is our 2nd Toyota Tundra. We have our over 100,000 miles on each one. It has some simple mechanical issues that must run in Tundra... Radio issues, horn issue, dashboard lights coming on randomly when nothing is wrong. Overall great vehicle with plenty of room.

Toyota Tundra is an excellent vehicle.
Durable, dependable, and has many comfort features as it is the platinum edition. Handles well pulling a trailer.

A comfortable reliable ride.
No real problems if a scheduled maintenance program is followed as suggested by the manufacturer. This truck is a very comfortable ride and is very reliable. We like that we have a split seat in the extended cab back seat. It allows us to put up the short of long length of seat or both so we can easily load groceries or other items.

The amount of space in the cab is phenomenal.
It's extremely reliable. Average features. Except the back window also rolls down along with the other windows. The amount of space in the back seats is incredible. I can easily fit my son's car seat in the seat and the stroller on the floor in front of it and easily still have plenty of space for two more passengers in the backseat without being cramped. There are 16 cup holders in the truck which comes in really handy with the amount of drinks we take with us. The cup holders are also a great size for bigger water bottles and coffee tumblers. But also fit normal sized cups just as well.

Toyota trucks are comfortable.
I very much enjoy my Toyota truck because it is big and comfortable for its size. The exterior is easy to clean as it is black leather. There are seat warmers and coolers for winter and summer. The camera feature is my favorite thing in the car and it is very accurate. Another thing that is very helpful is the beeping sound when you are switching lanes and another car is too close to yours.

The back window glass can roll down!! The kids love when we roll it down, and they can look out into the back of truck if we are parked at a parade and they don't want to sit out in the cold
I absolutely love this truck, the backseat has plenty of room, 2 6ft+ men can sit back there with plenty of legroom!!

Reliability is a staple when it comes to Toyotas and it shows.
The Toyota tundra is a reliable and dependable truck. With routine oil changes and regular maintenance I am at 120, 000 miles with little to no issues. The tundra is able to reliably pull any trailers I need (car hauler, uhaul, horse trailer, etc.). The braking system and tow package are a definite plus for pulling anything!

Tundra works hard so I can play even harder.
The tundra I own is very comfortable to ride in. It has warming seats. It also has split split level ac. Electric seats. The reliability of my tundra is phenomenal. It still gets the 2 miles to the gallon of gas that it did when I bought the thing. Its towing power is one of the strongest I've ever seen to date. It consistently stops in a dime and has great traction control.

2013 tundra crewmax 5.7 v8 flex.
The crewmax has tons of interior room. There is more room in the back that front. Basic accessories. Easy maintenance. The beds are too small though and could be extended another 1-2 feet. Gas mileage is average at best for the bigger v8. They are fun to modify though.

It is too large. The turning radius sucks. It is hard to park. It works good for hauling kayaks. The gas mileage is bad.

Final drive ratio
I own a 2013 Doublecab SR5 CREWMAX, It has dual captain's seats upfront, but the paperwork says the final drive ratio is 3.73:1, would it have to have been custom ordered to be equipped with those options?

Love that the rear window rolls all the way down.
It is the best vehicle I have ever owned. This truck is everything you will ever need and more. It has the most room inside the cab. It is very comfortable to sit in and drive. It is perfect for personal or business use. I have pulled trailers with vehicles on them without ease.

How dependable it is. I have owned 2 Toyota Tacoma's and now a tundra. The only reason I got rid of the first Tacoma is because it was a 2 door and wanted a 4 door. As my children got older, I needed more leg room in the back and went to a tundra.
Toyota Tundra is the most dependable truck on the road. I love my truck, but wish it had more luxury things inside. They are way behind other manufacturers in terms of bells and whistles.

Review of 2013 Toyota tundra.
I love this vehicle! I have been driving it for 7 years now and still haven't had any issues. It was somewhat difficult to drive at first because of the size but you get used to it. Other than that, no issues at all! Love this car 10/10 would recommend!

Silver tundra, looks sleek and not too high off the ground.
Extremely reliable, no issues, very comfortable, but that is because I added leather seats and navigation, the vehicle has had no issues that would be considered serious in the 4 years I have owned it. I will own a truck for the rest of my life now. When I need to buy another truck I plan on purchasing another Toyota tundra most likely.

I have owned f-150, ram, Silverado and now the tundra. Best truck ever! Basic maintenance and your good to go. Run synthetic oil. I do an oil change every 10 months. Had to replace the brakes and battery. Normal maintenance. Highly recommend the tundra.

I have a silver tundra and after a fresh wash it shines like no other.
I love my tundra. There isn't another truck with the same turning radius. It is a smooth ride and great in the snow. It does only get about 14 mpg in the city. Although on the highway I tend to get around 21 mpg depending on the speed. I normally drove about 3 mph over so that's around 68 to 73 mph.

2013 Toyota tundra platinum crew cab short bed 4wd, the good and bad.
I have a Toyota tundra platinum crew cab short-bed 4x4. Has been a great truck for me so far. I used to be a Chevy/GMC guy but really got annoyed by the way my wheel wells would always start rusting after about 5 or 6 years. On your 8 and no rust to this point. Only thing I have had to do to it is have the rear view camera replaced, which was quite expensive as they have to take the bed off to replace the cable bundle. I had purchased the extended warranty, so it was covered by that minus my deductible. Keeps its value pretty well. I will definitely be purchasing another in the near future.
accountCircle Douglas B on July 16, 2020
Great value for New England winters.
Reliable work truck that is gets good mileage. Not fancy, but very comfortable. The cab is large enough for 5 people. The bed size is six feet. The truck is pretty high off the ground and four wheel drive is selectable. Goes great in the snow. Very safe and solid.

My vehicle is really reliable. Does not give me too many problems as long as I do maintenance on time. It is very good when it comes to loving things being that I have a truck. It is pretty good on gas. Being that I have a Toyota even if it gives me issues the car parts are very affordable. It is a very comfortable truck that has plenty of space to fit about 6 people comfortable. It is very reliable on taking long trips. Toyota Tundra four wheel drive review highs and lows.
My Toyota Tundra has performed wonderful it's a very spacious truck all seats front and back recline very comfortable, it performs well in the mud the 4 wheel drive has plenty of power. The only thing that would sway my decision on buying another Toyota Tundra would be the gas mileage. The bed has plenty room, and the back up camera is a must for anyone that pools trailers regularly now that I've driven a truck with this function it will be high on my list for any future trucks.

My only complaint about my truck is that it has the 4.7 liter v8 and sometimes getting on the highway it really does not have that much power but and more modern years they've done away with that engine so it is no longer a problem. That is absolutely the only complaint I have about that vehicle.

It is a gas hog!! We went from 15 mpg down to 14 mpg. It also has a very small gas tank, which means we have to stop often for gas. There is no ventilation to the back seats.
There are a couple of things I got used to using when I had a chevy that I miss on this truck--being able to lock the windows and doors individually, the GPS system blocks half the screen when you are on an interstate and you only see part of the road. It looks nice from the outside. It looks very modern and has a good sized bed. On the inside it's not the most luxurious truck but it's comfy. The 2013 model doesn't have the greatest radio either. But overall it's a good work vehicle and nice for a personal vehicle because of its modern and fierce look.

It's drivability. The truck drives comfortably and is quiet like a car.
It's size! At 6'5" it's a vehicle that fits me. It's a crew max cab so it transports the family comfortably, and even as a truck it drives and is quiet like a sedan. Has tons of power and is very versatile.

It's a Toyota which is a very dependable truck, gets very good gas mileage
I like it because it is a very dependable truck, but I think truck prices are too high.
