Lol this engine can run on ANY oil in the store. Look at the owners manual overseas, where EPA doesn't regulate the content, every visc up to 15w-40 is recommended, depending on the climate. Do people really think 0w-16 is used in Saudi Arabia or Australia or Russia? Get real, ONLY in the US is 0w-16 the single visc recommended....it's by EPA regulation, the mfg must recommend the same oil used in the MPG test. Is that a test of engine life? Nope. In fact, the US manual it cautions against high speed driving on 0w-16. Lol, it's so good you can't drive fast on it! I use 0w-40 and 5w-30 and it runs much smoother and quieter.
