The 2013 Toyota Venza comes in five different configurations -- the LE, the LE V6, the XLE, the XLE V6, and the Limited V6. The smaller 2.7L 4Cylinder engine of the lower trim levels requires the use of 4.6 quarts of 0W-20 full synthetic motor oil, though 5W-20 may also be used in a pinch. The 3.5L 6 cylinder useS6.4 total quarts of the same. Though SAE 5W-20 is permissible, it's use is not recommended over the long term. The reason for this lies with oil weight; lower numbers are better, as they describe the oil's viscosity (the first at startup, and the second at operating temperature). A thicker oil will reduce engine efficiency, which can lead to premature wear and tear and a shorter engine lifetime.
