The most recent model year of the Toyota Echo, 2005, saw each configuration of the poor-selling subcompact car come with P175/65R14 tires. The tire pressure for the standard load version (81 SL) could range froM26 to 35 pounds per square inch, with a recommended inflation of 33 PSI for normal operation. However, if You upgrade to the extra load version (84 XL), this can safely be increased to up to 41 pounds per square inch. However, the recommended inflation remains the same at 33 PSI. It's important to note that under "heavy load" (or as heavy as an Echo can handle), this can be safely increased by up to a few PSI, so long as You don't exceed the maximum inflation number.
