The lug nut torque for the Toyota Highlander is stated aS-103 Nm (or the equivalent 76ft-lbs) for each model year and configuration, at leaSTSince the year 2005. Information on the early model years of the Gen1 Highlander (2001-2004) is not available at this time; presumably, it's the same as all other model years, but I cannot offer a guarantee of accuracy. Going a step farther in case You're interested, the Highlander uses a bolt pattern of 5 X114.3, which indicates that each wheel uses five lug nuts. They have thread measuring M12 X1.5, and a head size of 19mm hex. If You're looking for a replacement, many aftermarkets will have 21mm heads; this is acceptable, so long as You have a lug wrench to fit.

76ft/lbs but I do it with an impact wrench without torque it down. It’s not necessary to have it at exactly 76. A little over 76 is perfectly fine as long as it’s not too much.

I own 2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum. 76ft/lb to 90ft/lb is acceptable... Dealer says 85ft/lb. However always check the torque after a dealer visit. I checked my car after Chateauguay QC. Toyota dealer visit and it was over 150ft/lb, the service adviser denied my claim, but I know how to use a torque wrench... Personally I torque my wheels to 90ft/lb, drive about 100km and check at 85ft/lb setting...
