The 2010 Dodge Journey uses OEM Mopar antifreeze that is a hybrid organic additive type of antifreeze. Do not ever mix different types of antifreeze together in Your vehicle as the combination of chemicals could lead to rust forming in Your cooling system that can damage it. If You are unsure what type of coolant You have You will want to contact Your mechanic. If Your coolant is very low then You can always top it off with distilled water. This will lower Your cooling capacity, but it will not hurt Your vehicle at all. You should make sure to change the coolant in Your car about every 50,000 miles as well to make sure that it stays running well.

Dodge recommends using MOPAR Antifreeze/Coolant 5 Year/100,000 Mile Formula HOAT (Hybrid Organic Additive Technology) or equivalent for the 2010 Dodge Journey.
