What kind of coolant for 2017 kia forte?

Any high quality ethylene glycol based coolant with phosphate is acceptable to use in the 2017 Kia Forte. A mix ratio of 50/50 is recommended using only deionized or soft water. Hard water can cause scale buildup inside the radiator which could clog it up. If this were to happen the engine could overheat an severely damage it. As the temperatures fall the mix ratio can be increased slightly but never go over 60% coolant and 40% water. You should check the coolant level every month in the coolant reservoir to make sure it's within the normal operating range. The coolant level should be filled to between the F and L marks on the reservoir, be sure not to over fill it.
