You'll only need to use 87 octane regular gasoline when filling up the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. This particular SUV has a fuel tank capacity of 16.6 gallons. The Outlander isn't a bad option when it comes to fuel efficiency if that's something You're looking for in a car, and many of us are as gas prices keep going up. Most available trims can get 25 mpg in the city and up to 30 mpg on the highway. The only exception is the GT trim which will only get about 20 city and 27 highway as it's a more performance based vehicle. -

The one vehicle out of all of the different trim options for the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander to use a different type of gasoline is the Outlander GT. It is recommended to be filled with premium unleaded gasoline. The rest, the LE, the ES, the SE and the SEL all use regular unleaded gasoline.
