The type of gasoline You will need to use in Your 2018 Volkswagen Jetta is going to be dependent on what trim level Your vehicle is. The 1.8T models will run perfect fine on regular gasoline with an octane of 87. This will also be the same for the 1.4T models. The one that will need to run on premium fuel of 91 octane or higher will be the 2.0T models. No matter which type of Jetta You have they will all have a maximum fuel tank capacity of 14.5 US gallons. The MPG rating will vary depending on the model but they are generally pretty fuel efficient.

The 2018 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T GLI takes premium unleaded only. The 1.4T SE (automatic and manual), the 1.4T S (automatic and manual) and the 1.4T Wolfsburg Edition (automatic and manual) all use regular unleaded gasoline. The 1.8T SE Sport and the 1.8T SEL also take regular unleaded gasoline.
