The kind of gas the Chevy TrailBlazer takes is premium gasoline. Having the fuel burn efficiently is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the beSTShape. You will come into problems at some point. The gas tank might become loose. A bad control valve may arise. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite a hassle to deal with. There could be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. Car parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. If it doesn't get changed, You will come across issues with the performance.
Not sure what year you're referring to? But the Trailblazer does not require premium fuel.

Ida Hildreth, You should not use E85 unless your vehicle is a flexfuel vehicle. E85 can have too much alchohol for the valve seats of regular engines. Using E85 will damage your valve seats resulting in low engine compression and poor engine performance. If the valve seats become damaged at minimum partial engine rebuild would be required. Even a partial rebuild could cost thousands of dollars because of the cost of machining new and installing new valve seats.
I’m new to all this as this is my first vehicle! My brother suggested bc it’s turbocharged that I should use premium gas with the octane at 93 he said yes it costs more but my car will run better plus higher octane gas would burn slower. I’ve noticed since I’ve had my trailblazer and I’ve used regular gas it does seem to use more gas. Can anyone please help me with this? I really love my turquoise blue trailblazer rs turbocharged I traded my 2016 Jeep renegade in on this vehicle and my Jeep was AWD and 4x4 but definitely worth trading in on this I just want to make my vehicle run as best as possible for as long as possible.
