The kind of gas the Kia Sportage takes iS87 octane regular unleaded. Vehicle parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. If it doesn't get changed, You will come across issues with the performance Having the fuel burn optimally is crucial to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the best of shape. You will come into problems at some point or another. A faulty control valve may arise. The gas tank can become loose. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite an ordeal to deal with. There may be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto.

The 2019 kia sportage takes an 87 octane regular unleaded gasoline.
So would i be better off putting in either one of the 2 higher octane choices? Seems like given ur answer. But you didnt even suggest it, so im wondering if its actualky bad for engine to put higher,- given the way car was made. I have a 2015 kia sportage. Bought used with ,off hand roughly i75k it now has 109800k. When i bought i used highest, because for past decade+, i told by multiple car repair guys that higher oc was wayy worth extra pennies at pump per gal over the longer run , how higher ( mid or top oc) just runs through cleaner(?), so less breakdown of misc items that cost wayyy more in the end. I started with highest 1st year, as gas orices started to get insane in CAL @ $5. I would do mid octance if gas tank empty, every few times. But noe CAL's cash is $7.!!! Yup insane😤. Ive been only doing mid for past 6 months and feel like i have no choice i dont have the extra cash anymore right now, hit i feel like ill regret it later. But lol later is later;). But now reading its okay to do lowest im floored! Great to know i can!! Thk uuu:)!! But, again should i stick with mid octance if i can? Also if tank has 1/4 tank of one kind can i mix of differnt octance? Thank you soo much🌞
