The 2014 Dodge Durango uses, at MINImum, regular unleaded fuel with an octane rating of 87 or higher. However, it is highly recommended that You use 89 octane gasoline for this vehicle whenever feasible. This is a medium grade fuel, and is still very easy to find at the majority of service stations around the United States. It is also still affordable, while being a bit higher quality than the lowest grade. The Durango has a fuel tank capacity of 24.7 gallons. It also gets decent gas mileage, clocking in at up to 18 miles per gallon when driving on city streets, and up to 25 miles per gallon while traveling on the highways.

The 2014 Dodge Durango needs 87 octane fuel for the 3.6L engine models. The 5.6L engine can use 87 octane as well, but 89 octane is recommended.
