The 2012 Chevy Cruze uses SAE 5w-30 or 0w-30 viscosity, fully synthetic motor oil that meet specific requirements. The vehicle has an oil capacity of 4.6 US quarts. You can find these oils at any maSSRetail location. You can also find them at an automotive parts and accessories store, or online from trusted sellers. You can expect to pay between $2.36 and $13.88 per bottle. If You choose to have the change completed by an automotive service technician, or by a mechanic, You can expect to pay an additional $31 to $126 for labor. You may also want to invest in a $1 to $3 funnel, to help prevent spills during the exchange. An oil change should be obtained every 10,000 miles, or 12 months, whichever occurs first.

The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze takes a 5W-30 or 0W-30 viscosity engine oil and the oil must meet dexos1 quality standards.

In a 2012Chevy Cruze like I have calls for 4.2 quarts of ACDelco dexos 1 synthetic blend for the 1.4 liter turbo charged engine and only needs to be changed every 5000 to 10000 miles because it’s synthetic oil and it doesn’t break down the oil as quickly as just regular oil does I’ve always heard since I was a kid

Section 11-13 of the 2012 Cruze manual states Dexos 1, synthetic blend is recommended. 5W-30 is the preferred viscosity
