The 2012 Nissan Rogue takeS4.6 liters (4.86 US quarts) of SAE 5W-30 engine oil. This is a multi-grade fluid with a hot viscosity of 30 and a cold viscosity of 5. It's designed to keep the engine lubricated, cool, and free of corrosion in all weather environments. Nissan recommends changing the oil in the Rogue every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. However, if Your normal driving habits consist of long commutes and low speeds or You live in a dusty environment, You may require more frequent service appointments. A few recommended SAE 5W-30 products include Mobil 1, Kendall, Amsoil, Castrol GTX, and Pennzoil Platinum. If You decide to pay to have this service work done, it will run You $110 to $150, including labor.
