The 2014 AudiA4 has a 2.0 L 4Cylinder engine that needs SAE 5W-40 MS Synthetic European Motor Oil. The meaning of 5W-40 iS5 is the viscosity or thickness of the oil at startup, w is for winter and 40 is the viscosity or the thickness at startup. The difference between synthetic and conventional is that synthetic is man made with chemical compounds and it contains fewer contaminants. The capacity for the vehicle iS4.9 quarts with a filter. Oil does not last forever so it will need to be changed every now and then. You should do an oil and filter change every 10,000 miles. The cost of a change is anywhere from $20 to $30 in labor costs.
