The 2015 Buick Enclave uses SAE 5W-30 oil. Buick recommends that You use synthetic oil whenever You need to change it so that You get better wear protection. The two types of oil on the market these days are synthetic and conventional. Synthetic is engineered in a lab to give You greater lubrication and longer life compared to the standard conventional option. This means You should only need to change synthetic every 7,500 miles compared to the 3,500 to 5,000 mile interval on conventional. It is a good idea to check Your oil at least once a month to make sure that it is full and free from signs of debris or burning that could cause damage to Your engine.
