If You're hearing a ticking noise with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with a 3.6L engine it's likely going to be a problem with Your fuel injection system. When this goes bad they start rubbing up against each other and You're going to hear that noise. The fuel injectors are going to need to be replaced if this is the issue but don't worry as this won't be too expensive. The part if You're going to do it on Your own will be between $80 and $150. If You're going to take it in to a shop then the total for parts and labor should be between $250 and $400.

The ticking noises in the 2014 jeep grand cherokee may be caused by a variety of factors, such as low oil levels, worn/damaged lifts or oil sludge in the engine block. You may hear a ticking, buzzing, or tapping noise when the car is idling, accelerating, or even after getting a change in oil

I was hearing a consistent clicking whenever I was under 10 miles per hour. Really embarrassing to drive through a parking lot, etc. My problem was the Transfer Case Shift Motor. (Look that up) A new part and labor set me back 1k at the dealer, but it’s fixed!

The answer by James is ridiculously wrong, injectors cannot rub against one another, that is hilarious and proves he has NO IDEA what he is talking about
