The 2018 Toyota Tundra has either A4.6 L V8 or A5.7 L V8 engine that takes 0W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil. What 0W-20 means is that 0 is the viscosity or the thickness of the oil on startup, W is for winter and 20 is the thickness or the viscosity when the car has been running. The capacity for the truck iS8.5 quarts with a filter and the torque for the drain plug iS30 ft/lbs. Oil doesn't last forever so it needs to be changed every so often. For the Tundra the oil and filter should be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles. The cost of an oil change is anywhere from $60 to $80 in labor costs.

Any of the variations of the 2018 Toyota Tundra, whether they take Flex Fuel or regular unleaded, their engine is 4.6 liter or 5.7 liter, they're a Crewmax or double cab, short bed or long bed and come in rear wheel drive our four wheel drive, the outcome is the same regarding the type of oil that the Tundra takes. The SR, the SR5, the Limited, the 1794 and the Platinum all take 0w-20 fully synthetic oil.
