The 2018 Nissan Sentra takeS4.1 liters (4.3 quarts) of SAE SW-30 engine oil. This is a synthetic formula designed to protect the engine and enhance performance in all climates. Your vehicle is equipped with an oil life light that will let You know when it's time to make an appointment. The mechanic who completes the work will generally reset that light, but if they don't, it's a simple task You can do Yourself. The average cost to change this fluid in the 2018 Sentra is between $90 and $120. Labor makes up about $30 to $50 of that total. So, if You want to save some money, You can handle the maintenance work Yourself. A few popular products include Castrol Edge, Royal Purple, Mobil 1, and Pennzoil Platinum.

With a 1.6 liter engine, the 2018 Nissan Sentra Nismo and the Sentra SR Turbo use 4.6 quarts of oil. They're only able to use 0w-20 viscosity. The 2018 S, SL, SR and SV all have a 1.8 liter engine and also use the same 0w-20 viscosity, just less. They hold 4.2 quarts instead.

0W20 Synthetic (which is recommended by dealership and guarantees higher drain intervals) or 5W-30 (which can be slightly cheaper to purchase)

I prefer 0W-20. Idk who tf said 0W30 but, I doubt they meant to type that. It's 0W-30 or 5W30
