According to the owners manual for the 2012 Jeep Liberty You will want to use a MOPAR Antifreeze/Coolant with A5 year / 100,000 mile formula HOAT, which stands for Hybrid Organic Additive Technology. You should mix in about 50% HOAT coolant and distilled water. If You follow these guidelines the coolant should last You up to 5 years of 104,000 miles of driving. When mixing in Your water make sure it's either distilled or deionized as using regular water can lead to corrosion issues down the line. This coolant blend will provide good protection for year round weather conditions whether You're in freezing or hotter climates. -

Use Mopar type coolant which is orange in color

Color doesn't matter, isn't consistent across brands or types. HOAT is what is important here.
