The 2007 Ford Freestyle has a 3.0 L V6 engine with an oil capacity of 6.0 quarts, or 5.7 liters, and the recommended oil for You to use is SAE 5W-20 premium synthetic blend. Motocraft is the suggested brand but You can go with whichever brand You prefer as long as You choose the correct viscosity. You can also go with a full synthetic rather than a synthetic blend but it won't make a huge difference either way. When using either type of synthetic option You will only have to worry about changing Your oil every 7,500 miles rather than the usual 5,000 with a conventional oil. It also offers better engine protection which is another benefit of it. -
