There are many transmission fluid products out there for the 2003 Chevy Silverado. Dexron VI is a preferable one among people who have this the 2003 Chevy Silverado. It is a Valvoline Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid and You only need one quart to get going. Another great product is the O'Reilly Conventional Transmission Fluid 20W Dexron III-H/Mercon 1 Quart. Doing research and asking other people who have this vehicle is encouraged for You do not want to get anything that could be bad for the transmission. You do not want to use the wrong type of fluid as well because it can be catastrophic towards the transmission and other parts as well. Fixing those issues will be very expensive.

Will ATF transmission fluid be ok to use in a 2003 Silverado 4L60E. Had a trans line come off on a trip and ATF was only type available. Been using Dex VI prior to the line coming off
